Higher Education

I have been working in higher education since 2002 at the College of Nyíregyháza, Hungary (2002-2005), the University of Pécs, Hungary (2005-2009), and the University of Szeged, Hungary (since 2009).  I have been a supervisor and a teacher at the Doctoral School of Education, University of Szeged, Hungary since 2014.


International teaching activities in higher education

2017 – Thanh Hoa, Vietnam, Hung Duc University. Subjects: Lifelong learning in Europe, Policy and practice in Education in Europe

2006, 2008, and 2009 – Leuven Catholic University, Faculty of Psychology and Adult Education, Belgium. Erasmus Teacher Exchange Program. Mentor:  Prof. Herman Baert. Subjects: Lifelong learning policies in Europe and Hungary; Transformation of vocational education and training in Hungary; Changes and challenges in Hungarian vocational education and training, The transformation of the structure and content of vocational education and training in Hungary after 1989, Principles and models of Lifelong learning policy in Hungary.

Adult Learning and Vocational Education and Training

Between 2000 and 2005, I was the director of a vocational secondary school in Miskolc, dealing with upper-secondary vocational education and adult education in the field of tourism, commerce, and economics. 

I regularly deliver training courses, seminars, practice-oriented workshops, and teacher training for VET teachers and adult education professionals.

Learning outcomes-based training courses

I have been working on learning outcomes-based curriculum design and learning management since 2012.

Between 2018 and 2021, I implemented 24 training programmes for 219 university teachers at the University of Szeged on the following topics:

On behalf of the Tempus Public Foundation, the Education Authority, Chamber of Commerce, and Industry and Vocational Training Centres, I delivered nearly 100 training courses between 2012 and 2022 for VET teachers on learning outcomes-based curriculum design and learning management, assessment of learning outcomes, project-based learning, and innovative teaching methods.
