COABE (Coalition on Adult Basic Education) is the leading organization in the United States dedicated to advancing adult education and lifelong learning. COABE’s mission is to lead, equip, and empower the field of adult education, inspiring transformative growth in every adult to achieve their full potential. It supports educators, programs, and learners by promoting effective policies, professional development, and innovation in the field of adult basic education.

The annual conference is a truly large-scale and inspiring event, bringing together more than 2,000 professionals from across the country and beyond. It offers a unique space for knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and inspiration among those committed to empowering adult learners. I am especially grateful to Sharon Bonney CEO of COABE for her generous invitation. It is a great honor for me to be part of this outstanding professional community and to contribute to the dialogue on the future of adult learning.
